The Grand Ring Timetable


Holkham Country Fair prides itself on putting on the highest quality entertainment throughout the day and this year is no exception. Kicking off at 1045 with the Mounted Games and finishing at approximately 1830 with the iconic Closing Ceremony.

1045 - The Mounted Games of Great Britain

Watch ponies and their riders perform relay and obstacle-type races at breakneck speed. Who will you get behind?

1200 - Opening Ceremony

Parachute display from the Poppy Parachute Team followed by the Band and escorts from the Mounted Games Association of Great Britain.

1200 & 1800 - The Poppy Parachute Team

Look up to the sky as the Royal British Legion Parachute Display Team perform canopy formations and thrilling landings.

1240 & 1730 - Atkinson Action Horses (Saturday Only)

It is time to saddle up, strap in and hold on tight as this fearless team of stunt riders take to the Holkham stage. With over 20 years of experience they have honed their art of stunt riding into an amazing performance to dazzle the crowds.

1240 & 1730 - The Household Cavalry Musical Ride (Sunday Only)

The breathtaking display from soldiers of the Lifeguards and Blues & Royals return to Holkham on Sunday only. Watch in awe at the complex drills performed in full ceremonial regalia.

1310 & 1630 - Broke BMX

Watch as these riders whizz through the air performing tricks not to be tried at home!

1440 - Hound Parade

Hear the cry of the hounds as they parade around the ring and talk about the role of Hunting in the countryside today.

1500 - Historic Cars Parade

A parade of beautifully restored motor cars spanning the ages, a nostalgic tribute to the golden days of motoring.

1530 - The Holkham Country Fair Children's March Past

Watch as the children of the Holkham Country Fair join with the band in the Grand Ring, more fun for all the family.

1340 - Aerobatics with Steve Carver

Look up to the skies and marvel at Steve and his tricks and spins above our heads.

1600 - CJ's Birds of Prey

With her selection of birds from around the world, informative and enjoyable commentary and Charlotte's experience in flying and training birds of prey she is always her a firm favourite in the Grand Ring.

1700 - Allcomers' Dog Racing with Adrian Francis & The Red Sock Team

The madcap capers of the Terrier Roadshow returns to the Country Fair. Fun for all the family including your four-legged friend.

1800 - Closing Ceremony & Beating Retreat

Parachute display from the Poppy Parachute Team followed by the Band and escorts from the Mounted Games Association of Great Britain.
